These aren't ranked, sponsored or anything fancy. They're simply places I know, places I like, and a few useful local options depending on whether you want motel vibes, a little luxury, something easy, or to disappear into the woods entirely.
Motel vibes · Simple · Easy
I like this one because it has proper motel vibes. It's simple, unfussy and a little different from your standard hotel. If you just want somewhere easy without making a big thing of the hotel itself, this is a good little option.

It's the motel feel that makes me like this one. Nothing overly fancy, just a completely different vibe from the bigger hotels.
Luxury · Discreet feeling · A little maze-like
This is one of the nicer options if you want something that feels a little more special. It's a four-star former manor house set within 10 acres of private lawns and woodland.
My take ♡
I really like Southcrest. It feels luxurious but discreet, and once you're inside it's honestly a little bit like a maze. Lots of corridors and different tucked-away areas. It just has a very different feeling from walking into a normal chain hotel.
Spa · Countryside · Treat yourself
One for when you want the hotel to be a bit more part of the experience rather than simply somewhere to sleep. It has more of a country resort feel and is a nice alternative when you fancy something above the basic hotel options.
My take ♡
More of a make a night of it choice. A little nicer, more facilities and somewhere you can actually spend some time rather than just disappearing straight into your room.
Boutique · Small · Character
A gorgeous little Grade II listed former country house in Ipsley with only nine boutique bedrooms. Much smaller than the big hotels, so it has a completely different atmosphere.
My take ♡
This is the one I'd look at if you want something smaller, prettier and a little more intimate rather than a big hotel full of identical corridors and rooms.
Central · Easy · Convenient
Right by Redditch town centre and particularly useful if you're arriving by train. Parking and breakfast are included too, so it's a very easy option without loads of planning.

Probably one of the easiest choices. Not really a romantic country escape, but comfortable, central and convenient.
Familiar · Practical · Easy parking
It's Premier Inn. You know what you're getting. This one has free on-site parking, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a restaurant and is handy for the A441 and M42.

Nothing weird or wonderful about this one, but sometimes easy and predictable is exactly what you want.
Casual · Pub stay · Relaxed
A more casual option surrounded by fields, with the pub and restaurant right there. It's also only a few minutes from the M42.
My take ♡
Easygoing and uncomplicated. Nice if you want somewhere where you can arrive, get some food and settle in without going anywhere else.
Adult Only · Hotel · Flirts · Club · Spa
A little further away in West Bromwich, but a very different option if you want somewhere completely adult and kink-friendly. Xtasia brings Flirts bar, the club, spa and an adults-only hotel together in the same venue.
My take ♡
I know Xtasia and really like it here. It's probably the option I'd suggest if you want to feel completely comfortable being kinky without worrying about being out of place. You can have a drink in Flirts, go into the club when there's an event you fancy, and then literally stay upstairs rather than having to head back to another hotel. The hotel only has eight rooms, including five private en-suite doubles, plus larger/shared options. The rooms have their own character and themed furniture. Importantly, booking the hotel doesn't automatically include entry to Xtasia events or the spa, so those need to be arranged separately.
Secluded · Cosy · Middle of nowhere
Not technically a hotel, but somewhere I've visited and really like. It is literally a cabin in the middle of the woods, which is very cool. It feels completely different from staying in a normal hotel and is a lovely choice if you want your own little space and something much more secluded.

This one's an experience in itself. You're tucked away in the woods, away from everything, and it makes the whole stay feel like a little adventure.
Please message me. The cabin is a little woodland off grid cabin, no electric, no running water, but everything we need for fun inside or out xxx
If the cabin isn't available, there are loads of cabins, cottages, barns and private stays dotted around Redditch and the surrounding Worcestershire countryside too.
Studley Castle is an adults-only Warner castle hotel with spa facilities, entertainment and dining, so it's much more of a whole break.
